The Outstanding Senior Award will be presented at 9:45 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, to an individual age 50 or older who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment that benefits the community and its citizens.
Paul Hedin, a volunteer with CentraCare Hospice, was named the 2023 Outstanding Senior in west central Minnesota after volunteering for more than 11 years.

Life Connections has named Larry Cain, a hospice volunteer for Carris Health Rice Hospice, as its recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Senior Award winner. He received his award Friday at the Life Connections event in Willmar.
Carris Health-Rice Hospice and their church remember two friends as "love and care personified" as they served their community and looked out for each other through the years. The women died one day apart in April.
