I had a teacher i loved, and he took me aside and told me i needed to quit speaking up so much in class. The boys were not going to like me and itwood ladylike, and it impacted me. I was hurt she said this to me. Then, many years later in 2012, after my first debate with todd aiken, he told the press after the debate its wasnt very ladylike. So those two incidents reaffirmed in my mind that i have to communicate to other young women that its plenty ladylike to be outspoken ask strong and opennated and ambitious. The idea that the federal government is going to tell us where State Government everything we can and cannot do is appalling to me and we have really run up the cost of government by putting people in jail, prisons for what should be a minor offense.
