Most recently, the director spoke candidly about bringing the Joker into the film with a new look.
He told IGN: “It really defines, in my mind, the mythological heart of the conflict that both of them share is their relationship.
“I think without a scene where [Batman and the Joker] get to air their dirty laundry about each other, I felt like we were getting shortchanged as fans of the DC Universe.”

Snyder continued: “That was the hope, that we would get to see them come together but also, in particular, reflecting on each other and their struggle with each other and the why a little bit, so that was really fun for me.”

The second film would have built on the first by having the League face off against a deadly Legion of Doom…and lose.

It would build on the post-credits scene of Justice League where Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) asks Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), “shouldn’t we have a League of our own?” The other films would have Luthor recruiting Batman’s old enemy the Riddler, and classic Flash Rogue Captain Cold.
JUSTICE LEAGUE is coming out later this month and will tell the full story of the birth of the DC Comics heroes. The Zack Snyder Cut will reveal how the original story was supposed to finish, but the latest news about a cliffhanger ending may begin the story of Flash s solo movie.
The Canadian star makes it clear that he has no interest in reprising his role as Hal Jordan while responding to a speculation that his appearance is the big surprise in store for the Snyder Cut.
