COLDWATER A dozen members of the Michigan National Guard helped staff last Thursday’s second dose COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Dearth Center.
National Guard units are requested to help whenever available Rebecca Burns, Health Officer for the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency said.
Besides Coldwater guard units have helped staff clinics recently in Union City and Colon.
The men and women have been providing essential help at testing sites for COVID-19 and are now at vaccination sites “until we are no longer needed, “ Air Force Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Crabill said.
The team leader for the dozen at the Dearth Center are all part of Task Force Bronco a group of 100 of which “60 are on teams tasked to go around Michigan where they are needed. The teams are usually an Army Medic and then Air Force personnel to help with administration.
