Emory’s campus will remain open and the semester will begin on time, but to support academic continuity and reduce density across campus, courses will begin in a remote format. In-person learning will resume Jan. 31 as conditions permit.

The verdict guilty on all counts is a relief to me and many others, but the pain left in the wake of this tragedy remains.
