Roger Handberg, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Florida, will host special agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Internal Revenue Service in Orlando for a news conference to announce the results of a lengthy, multi-state drug trafficking investigation, according to a news release.
It’s been the driving force of drug overdoses over the last seven years: fentanyl. In Miami-Dade alone, more than 1,300 people have died from an overdose.
