WEDOWEE - At last Thursday s Randolph County Board of Education meeting, it was agreed that the when school goes back into session after the holidays, the first week of January will be virtual for students and on-site for faculty and staff.
Students will return to face-to-face instruction on Monday, Jan. 11. Due to the current increase in COVID-19 cases statewide, Randolph County Schools will remain on a four-day schedule through at least Friday, Jan. 22.
In a related matter, all extracurricular activities, including athletic events, have been cancelled through Jan. 10. At this time activities may resume on Monday, Jan. 11. Further adjustments will be made as needed according to Superintendent John Jacobs.
