Arizona prepares for its first execution in eight years at the same time some lawmakers are challenging the governor on how to manage the state's multiple laws restricting abortion if Roe v Wade is overturned.
Gov. Doug Ducey said Wednesday his self-proclaimed "pro-life'' position covers only abortions and not executions even those carried out in the name of the state.Ducey said he believes in the death penalty in "certain rare situations.''
