Brighton and Hove Albion want Dean Bowditch to return to them on loan until the end of the season. The former England U19 international striker is currently back at Portman Road having treatment on a recurrent groin injury.
Norwegian midfielder Vemund Brekke Skard will make his first appearance in a Town shirt this evening when the reserves take on Fulham at Portman Road (KO 7pm). Former Town goalkeeper Shane Supple admits that he would have liked to have been managed by current Blues boss Mick McCarthy. Supple, who retired from the game aged 22 in 2009 to return to Ireland, sees similarities between McCarthy and former Town boss Joe Royle.
