The museum on Tuesday, Sept. 20, announced that trustees elected Ellen Stirn Mavec as chair, succeeding Scott C. Mueller. Mavec, a museum trustee since 1991 and an executive committee member since 1996, is the longest-serving member of the museum's board.
The gift will support CSU's doctoral program in urban affairs by establishing a fellowship in honor of a retiring professor. Plus, Cuyahoga Community College earns an award recognizing its efforts in diversity, and an Ursuline College assistant professor receives a national nod.
The organization says this year's Young Professionals Week takes place June 18-25 and includes more than 40 fitness/wellness, professional development, learning and networking events.
