The DDA approved another round of e-auction for left-out flats in Dwarka and offered a 15% discount for flats in Narela. Non-governmental legal entities can now purchase DDA flats in bulk for use as residential staff quarters and hostels.
Lt Governor VK Saxena had instructed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to credit Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) in the bank accounts of applicants within 15 days to ensure that they do not face harassment and red tape, it stated.
The auction features super HIG, HIG, and penthouses in Dwarka, MIG in Dwarka Sector 14, and MIG in Loknayak Puram, totaling 1,130 luxury flats. The process, conducted in collaboration with SBI s e-auctioning bidding platform, involves specific timings for different categories to ensure efficiency. The reserve prices range from Rs 1.1 crore to Rs 5 crore, with earnest money deposits varying based on the flat category.
Around 1,500 flats were booked in Dwarka, Narela and Lok Nayak Puram on the first day of booking for the Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) recently launched housing scheme on Monday, officials said.
