DC Police are investigating threats made against four schools in the District. It's the third consecutive day that threats have been made against select DC public schools.
Dunbar High School in D.C. was evacuated Wednesday, the second day in a row, in addition to five other schools after DC Public Schools was made aware of security threats. DC Police have since announced each of the schools have been cleared with no hazardous material found.
Substitute teachers serving less than 30 days in a school year will now make $17 an hour, an increase from $15.20 an hour, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Public Schools announced Tuesday.
