mandates, vaccines and masks could draw up to 20,000 people at and around an event being called defeat the mandates, american homecoming event. so the fbi, department of homeland security, metropolitan and u.s. park police and others are helping local businesses prepare for the crowds and possibly confront protesters who may refuse to wear masks indoors or provide vaccination cards or comply with d.c. rules. the protests coincide with new proof of vaccine requirements for restaurants, bars, gyms and other private businesses in d.c. u.s. capitol police and montgomery county, maryland s, police department are staffing up to arrest those who are noncompliant or who harass employees and have already held a conference call with these business leaders to prepare. now, the u.s. capitol police chief says i am confident in our preparation for this weekend. law enforcement officials are also concerned the protests
