What s it like to work in Congress right now? U.S. Rep. Andy Kim delivered a succinct description to a group of Cub Scouts and Brownies Wednesday night.
“Sometimes it’s about passing laws, sometimes it’s about picking up some trash,” he said.

“I have a whole stack of thank-you notes and cards people have been sending me,” Kim told the youngsters. “What a lot of them say is they were very thankful for what I did, because it shows that we love this country, that the Capitol building should be treated with respect, and it’s not just because of the building, but because the Capitol building represents our country, our democracy.”
