No help coming, Bhiwani village forms self-help group

Deepender Deswal Bhiwani, May 8 With the district health authorities unable to provide much help, residents of Barwa village have taken upon themselves to devise a mechanism for the timely treatment of those showing Covid-like symptoms, enlisting the services of registered medical practitioners (RMPs). The villagers claim there has been no RT-PCR testing and contact tracing by the authorities so far. Jolted by the demise of panchayat member Hawa Singh (40) on April 30, who could not get the requisite medical aid, the villagers decided to form “Corona Sahayata Samiti” comprising over 200 members.
