Skater XL updated to version 1.1 which allowed players to mod the game through the use of mod.io, a platform that allows cross-platform modding for games. The trailer you see below shows off the simple process of installing a mod by simply choosing which ones you want to install and can range from cosmetics to map changes.
It was revealed that over 1 million downloads were made in a single day through the cross-platform modding system.
