NEW BLOOMFIELD Jefferson City’s Dylan Bryan and Ashland’s Jacob Anderson tied for first place in the boys 16-18 year-old division Monday on the Missouri Golf Association’s Missouri Junior Tour stop at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.
Bryan and Anderson each shot a 1-over 73.
Jefferson City’s Archer Schnieders closed with a 3-under 69 on Tuesday to win the boys 16-18 year-old division of the Missouri Golf Association’s Junior Amateur Championship at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex. Schnieders, who will be a senior this fall at Helias High School, posted six birdies, 10 pars, one bogey and one double-bogey in his second round of the two-day event, finishing with a 7-under 137. He shot a 3-under 33 on his final nine holes Tuesday.
Archer Schnieders is tied for first after the opening day of the Missouri Junior Amateur at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex. Schnieders (Helias High School), competing in the boys age 16-18 division, shot a 4-under 68 in the first round. Schnieders tallied three birdies on the front nine in shooting a 33, then had a pair of birdies and a bogey on the back nine.
California’s William Boyd and Lake Ozark’s Hanna Maschhoff captured championship titles in the 16-18 year-old division Monday in the Missouri Junior Tour Championship at Eldon Golf Club. Boyd won the boys championship with a two-day total of 7-over 151, while Maschhoff claimed the girls title with a 12-over 156.
