The robbery the black Delfast Top 3.0 bicycle took place at the junction of Kinson Road and Canford Avenue in Bournemouth at around 1.40pm on Tuesday, May 18. As reported, the victim, a man aged in his 30s, was stationary on his electric bicycle when he heard shouting from behind. He turned around and saw two men approaching him. They pushed him off the bicycle and one cycled off on it down Canford Avenue, with the other man running alongside.

E-bike stolen from man in daylight Bournemouth robbery

The stolen electric bicycle was a black Delfast Top 3.0 worth around £5,000. The offenders were described as white and wearing dark-coloured tracksuits and face masks. PC Robin Morgan, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this robbery to try and identify the men responsible. “This incident occurred in the middle of the day in a busy area and I am appealing to anyone who witnesses what happened, or who was driving in the area and may have captured something relevant on dashcam, to please contact us. “I would also like to hear from anyone who comes across an electric bike matching the description given above being offered for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
