The superstore located at 45001 Ford Road went before the township s planning commission Jan. 4 to seek approval on an expansion to the store that would rework the drive-up pharmacy area, as well as reduce the size of the garden center to make room for it.
The proposal, which was approved unanimously by the commission, would move the drive-thru pharmacy from the north side of the building to the west side of the building, eliminating the lineup of vehicles in the front of the store. Adding the pharmacy area to this part of the store will reduce part of the garden center, though representatives said the center would continue to offer everything it currently does, though in fewer quantities.
