KANSAS CITY, Mo. â As the metro starts to open back up, new small businesses are taking off. Shop Local KC, an extension of its ownerâs other passion project âThe Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair,â hosted a soft opening at its brick and mortar location on Friday.
âIt feels really amazing and also a little scary at the same time,â owner Katie Mabry van Dieren said. âI would say donât give up, because if I had given up, I wouldnât have had this store.â
