The final episode of Line of Duty was watched by millions on Sunday (2 May), but the only thing it got right was a “lesbian fairytale” ending for Jo Davidson.
According to the
BBC, the finale was the most watched episode of Line of Duty to date, with 12.8 million viewers tuning in, and finally saw the unveiling of “H”.
But the last episode of the sixth series was met with disappointment from viewers and critics alike, with
The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan describing it as “fine”, and
Metro’s Harry Fletcher writing that the finale “fell flat”.
