MILFORD The Planning and Zoning Board has approved a change to the city’s Planned Elderly Community zoning regulations that would allow completion of the Southwick at Milford, a 55 and older condominium complex on Wheelers Farm Road.
According to attorney Kevin Curseaden, who submitted the proposal to the board last month meeting, the Southwick was constructed in 2000. But the developer did not finish the project, he said.
Curseaden requested a change to Section 3.1.6.3, reducing the minimum lot size from 10 to five acres for a “previously approved phased development Planned Elderly Community Use” in an RA zone, and allowing for a “separate fee simple ownership.”
