11 May 2021, 09:58 The housebuilder has expanded its North West land and planning department with the appointment of Max Mutemererwa as land manager and Megan Holden as assistant land manager. Taylor Wimpey is ramping up its land acquisitions in the region, with its latest buys including land off Liverpool Road in Prescot with planning permission for a 227-unit residential development known as Orchard Park. In addition, the company has recently been selected by government agency Homes England as the preferred housebuilder for the 325-home David Whitby Way development in Crewe. Mutemererwa joins from Avant Homes where he was land manager, and he was previously a land buyer at Countryside. Prior to that, he was assistant land buyer at retirement housing specialist McCarthy & Stone.
