It happened just outside of at t park in the area of jack london alley and giant street. Ktvu Tara Moriarty is on the scene there with the moments leading up to the shooting. Reporter the police chief says that officers were in the area and they noticed that there was a suspicious car casing the neighborhood. They noticed that the suspects got out of their car behind me here in that alley way and that is when things turned ugly. Police say the thieves broke into a mercedes suv and stole some items.
