According to the
Spectator, Karafa who first gained notoriety for a deadly drunk-driving crash in 2012 was a partner in a medical supply business. Four days after the murder, the partnership was dissolved and the company’s name was changed.
In 2014, Karafa was sentenced to slightly under five years in prison for the deadly car crash on Mount Pleasant Rd. in Toronto that killed his personal trainer.
