A young lady in her mid-twenties has been found dead in a Guest House in Somanya.
According to the Police on April 6, at about 1340 hours, David Teye Annor, 63, a pensioner came to the Somanya District Police Headquarters and reported that, he is the Director of a guest house located at Low Cost, a suburb of Somanya.
The Director said on Monday, April 5, at about 1500 hours, a man who gave his name to them as Charles Tetteh together with a lady came to lodge at the place. He said on April 6, which was on Tuesday, at about 1200 hours, when it was time for them to check out, he, the director visited the room only to see the lady in a pool of blood.
The Eastern Regional Police Command has called on the management of hostels and guest houses to strengthen security and demand National Identification cards from clients who patronize their facilities.
This, according to the Acting Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, Sergeant Francis Gomado, will help provide accurate information about their guest to help check crime.
The call follows the killing of a young woman at Gameli Guest House in Somanya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

It is emerging that there has been another murder incident recorded in the Eastern region at a guest house in Somanya in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.
A young woman believed to be Believe Sakitey was found in a pool of blood at Janeli Guest House who checked into the guest house on Monday with a guy who gave his name as Charles Tetteh but failed to check out the following day when their time was due.
The receptionist decided to check on them since they were still not out and their time was due but upon arrival there a lifeless body of the lady soaked in blood was found in the room without the man who checked in with her.
