The incident took place at around 4am on Sunday, May 30 and the two men were arrested later that day. David Sheridan, aged 25, of Parcyrhun, Ammanford, was charged with attempted robbery, wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. Dyfed-Powys Police said Sheridan was taken from police custody to court on Monday, May 31, where he was further remanded into custody and is due to appear before Swansea Crown Court on Monday, June 28. The second male has been bailed pending further enquiries by Ammanford CID.
