Butte County grant money is still helping small business a month later

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - It has been about a month since several Butte County businesses received much needed COVID-19 relief funding from the Butte Business Stabilization Program.
So, how have some businesses used the money?
Upper Park Clothing in Downtown Chico said they used the money to simply pay their employees.
David Selkirk owns Upper Park and he told Action News Now that this money kept his store afloat.

The Downtown Chico Business Association created a way for people to shop local during the pandemic.
With the holidays coming up, people are using it more than ever.
The Downtown Chico Online Marketplace is a way for people to shop at local stores and restaurants all in one location while still following the pandemic guidelines.
