We heard from andersons family and the police chief about the encounter. The officer requested backup on the radio. He said the suspect at the park had a gun. The officer told the suspect he had a gun, he reached for the gun, he said he had backup coming. He suggesting he was complying with the officers orders. Reporter maurice, this most recent incident happened along southern boulevard in the bronx. The victim says the violence was completely unprovoked and he says its not the first time hes been attacked while driving a bus. Punched my head. Reporter dennis done well has been a bus driver for the last 13 years. At least twice hes been attacked behind the wheel. The most recent assault, a violent beating.
