Residents in Sydney s Northern Beaches have queued at coronavirus testing clinics for up to five hours today after the number of infections linked to the area spiked from just two to 17 in a matter of hours.
Locals were seen lined up for hundreds of metres, anxiously waiting in long queues after several locations were confirmed visited by infected sources.
The testing site at Avalon Recreation Centre saw thousands of people lined up around the block, while those queued at Northern Beachers Hospital were lined up for around five hours, 9News was told.
