Blackburn Magistrates Court A MAN who had been led to believe his ex-partner would have no objection to him calling round found out differently when he turned up at her door. Blackburn magistrates heard she immediately called the police because David Richard Hargreaves was in breach of a restraining order. Hargreaves, 43, of Melville Drive, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to breach of a restraining order. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge. Scott Parker, prosecuting, said the victim contacted the police and said Hargreaves was outside her house and banging on the door. When the police got there he was standing at the front door, said Mr Parker.
