This began near the white house when a woman in a black sedan tried to breach the barricades. Secret service stopped her. She ended up leading them on a highspeed chase through the streets of washington, d. C. It all ended here behind me near the u. S. Capitol building. Witnesses in the neighboring blocks said they heard a series of rapidfire gunshots. Those were believed to be that of the Capitol Police. The woman was killed and there was a child taken from the car. That child is a one year old, and we talked to witnesses who said they saw the officers go grab that child and bring her out.
