The Cities 92.9 legion is joining with thousands of others expected to descend on the nation’s capitol, and support President Trump’s claims that the election was rigged.
“I hope that we solidify the electoral process. I mean what we’ve seen demonstrated, whether you agree with it or not, whether you believe that there were ballots under the table or that people were sent home, or that there was a water main break, we need to make sure that there’s confidence and integrity in our electoral process,” said David Paul Blumenshine with Cities 92.9

Thursday evening, Illinois native and small business owner David Paul Blumenshine announced his candidacy for Normal Town Council trustee.
Blumenshine s goal for the Normal community is to hold the town council morally and financially accountable. He believes the voice of Normal taxpayers and small businesspeople have not been represented or respected.
He plans to run his campaign with moving budget items from vanity projects to local needs, including roads.Â
âNormal has the ability to be a leader for other communities in the state of Illinois by modeling fiscal responsibility. Normalites have pleaded with the local government to help grow our community rather than burden the suffering with tyrannical shutdowns as well as utilizing liquor commissions to close restaurants and bars,â Blumenshine said in a statement.
