Authorities Friday publicly identified a suspect in an assault that left a 59-year-old man fatally injured last month on a crowded dance floor at a South Bay nightspot.
A 59-year-old man who was severely assaulted on a crowded dance floor at a Chula Vista restaurant two weeks ago has died of his injuries, authorities reported.

A man pulled a gun and fired two shots into the air after being denied entry into the Chula Vista Brewery early Sunday, police said.
About 13 minutes after midnight, a group of people arrived at the brewery near the intersection of Third Avenue and F Street but were denied entry by security because they were carrying drinks, said Chula Vista police Lt. David Oyos.
Two men in the party got into an altercation with brewery security. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired two shots into the air. The men left the scene by time police arrived.
