Also on board are three directors, two of whom are senior Tesla executives. The third, is a serial entrepreneur based in the Karnataka capital, who has a Tesla connection. Here is what we know about them. Vaibhav Taneja Taneja is Tesla s Chief Accounting Officer and is known for his acumen with numbers. The Chartered Accountant joined Tesla in 2017, after a year at subsidiary SolarCity, which develops and sells solar cells. A commerce graduate from Delhi University, Taneja initially made an impression at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he joined in 1996. From the India office, he relocated to the US, eventually spending nearly 17 years at the firm.

Tesla Registers Its Indian Entity WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Electric car major Tesla Motors has entered into the Indian automobile market by incorporating its registered office under the name Tesla India Motors and Energy Pvt. Ltd. in the southern city of Bengaluru in the state of Karnataka. According to a Registrar of Companies (RoC) filing, the new entity is registered as a subsidiary of foreign company. The filing also shows its office registered in Lavelle Road with an authorized capital of INR 15 lakhs and a paid-up capital of INR 1 lakh. Ahead of the official launch of the company, the car maker also has named three directors for the newly formed Indian entity - Vaibhav Taneja, Venkatrangam Sreeram and David Jon Feinstein.

After an 8% correction on Monday, Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) stock bounced back on Tuesday rising nearly 5%. On Tuesday’s closing hours, the TSLA stock was 4.72% up trading at a price of $849 with its market going back above $800 billion. All this happened amid teh talks on the expansion of Tesla to India. Today in the pre-market, the stock is 0.35% down.
