We brought this item before committee and will continue today until the next rules committee, but want to reiterate the purpose behind this. I think everyone shares this here, the parks inside the sit a are some the greatest assets qu provide a high quality of life and as the city grows in terms of population and otherwise and we feel it every day, the parks are used with greater intensity more than ever before. Over the last few years inside of city hall the parks budget has note grown and if we want to maintain had parks and new open space we ptd to develop in San Francisco, we need to make sure spending for the park saz priority and that is what this amendment does. Lets bring in our chief meteorologist jeff ranieri, whos tracking the worst right now, and whats to come tomorrow morning . We do have some heavy rainfall on tap within the next 18 hours. Right now its all about two zones of rain were tracking at the current moment. The heaviest area is right here in the extreme south bay. Over the past two hours what ive been concerned about is this rainfall thats been basically training over the same exact spot in morgan hill. Elevating your flood concern.
