Letter: Thanks for making Pence sale a success Shares This year, the Pence Gallery was forced to cancel its annual Garden Tour due to COVID restrictions. But as with art itself, there are work arounds and this year we adapted the Garden Tour into an outdoor Art in the Garden event. Twenty artists created wonderful art to enhance gardens and delight garden owners. There were over 200 items available, and their sale helped not only local artists, but the Pence Gallery itself. Upstairs in the Andresen Learning Center, the “Natural Abundance” exhibit featured garden paintings from 18 artists. Fresh bouquets of flowers, fabulous theme baskets, plants, and free seed packets from Hedgerow Farms, all contributed to the festive theme.
