(ABC 6 News) - On Friday various members of Rochester s diverse community gathered to host an event educating various workplaces in the area about inclusivity.
Diversity Crew put on the event called the Return on Investment of Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Every person you interact with - they re at different places. Meaning they have different experiences to draw from, Chris Moreland, a Diversity Crew partner, said.
The new, one-year-old organization called is working to highlight those different experiences. Until 2016 and the supreme court ruling legalizing marriage in all of the United States, I could not marry the man that I have loved and stood beside for more than 11 years, speaker David Gifford-Robinson said.
