Marion Cronin, 76, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023, after complications from an autoimmune disease she battled for 20 years. Marion was born in Superior, Wisconsin to Alphonse and Mavis (Doyle) Burbul on May 24, 1947. Throughout the years, she surrounded herself with great friends and fun memories. You could always count on Marion to be up for a night of music and dancing. In May of 1985, she married the love of her life, William Cronin. Together they enjoyed traveling, boating, and socializing at the Elks Lodge. Marion had a variety of careers over the years including nursing, managing retail stores, and raising her children. Together, Bill and Marion blended their families for a grand total of 7 children, 19 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren (with 3 more on the way). In addition to her love for her family, her friends were just as important. Marion was a social butterfly who was never afraid to speak her mind.
