A sustainable ceasefire. One that addresses all of the concerns, the longterm concerns as well, begin to talk about the underlying causes of the conflict in gaza, although they will not be resolved in the context of a ceasefire discussion. To try to build, to begin and move in a process and that is what we are trying to achieve. That thehe only way conflict is going to be resolved. If we can make some progress, the people in this region, who deserve peace, can take one step towards that elusive goal by stopping the violence which catches innocents on all sides in the crossfire and begin to try to build a Sustainable Way forward. Any process to asolve the crisis in gaza in lasting and meaningful way must lead to the disarmament of hamas and all terrorist groups. We will work closely with israel and regional partners and the International Community in support of this goal. We continue to have these discussions. In discussions succeeded putting a 12 hour humanitarian ceasefire in place. F
Example, we spoke about the tea party panel last yesterday. I dont know how many people were there for that, but you already see that a lot of those push button issues that fomented that anger within the tea party were issues that are now being coopted by the Establishment Republican Party, you know . Fiscal responsibility, school choice, issues like that. But now were going to see that the major parties are going to start to adopt it and so are the candidates. Theyre going to adapt a portion of that. And its very understandable. People, unemployment is still rather high. Corporations are making a lot of money because they are more productive, but theyre being more productive with fewer people. So theyre not hiring back a lot of the people that were let go during the recession. So on the economics front, how our candidates are going to address these issues is going to have a major impact. Hawaiian islands used to have several species of crows an they probably die diverge from those in the u. S. At least 700,000 years ago. So this is in a lot of ways a lot like the story of darwins finches where an animal arrived on, obviously, were not sure how exactly. But in very small numbers, and then species in different niches and able to survive in different habitat. But the difference is that in the case of the hawaiian crows most of the species died out after the first humans arrived, so whereas galapagos not inhabited till europeans arrived in hawaii, sea fairers arrived 1500 years ago. And already they brought with them a species like rats like the pacific rat that either outcompeted or potentially just ate up the young and the eggs of these crows so most of the species were already gone by the time europeans arrived.
