Parents charged with endangering the welfare of children
Two Mill Hall parents are accused of allegedly neglecting their three children by providing filthy living conditions for them to live in.
Colton Styers, 25, and Jessica Hughes, 28, both of 280 Mountain Lane, are co-defendants in a case that charges them with endangering the welfare of their children, as well as in a separate animal cruelty case, at a Jersey Shore apartment they formerly lived at: 1316 Allegheny St., Apt. 2, according to Justin Segura, an officer with the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police Department.
Styers and Hughes allegedly allowed garbage and filth to accumulate in the home to the point where Jordan McGill, a caseworker from the Lycoming County Children and Youth Center, could not walk from room to room, according to an affidavit filed by Segura.
