First up is Jennifer Keene whos professor of history and chair of the department of history at Chapman University in southern california. And as you can tell, shes a specialist in the American Military experience in world wor i. She is an awardwinning scholar, her books include the United States and the First World War. Shes also the author of dozens of articles and book chapters and has written, edited and contributed to textbooks and reference works. Her encyclopedia of war in American Society won the prize of the society for military historys best military history reference are book. Guest workers were doing an inspection of an area at hanford called 200 east, which is where factory operated plutonium for weapons during the cold war, and they discovered a hole feet. Ground, 400 square the problem was this hole was tunnel, over a waste which the site had used for radioactivelow away waste they didnt know what to do with.
