OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon to be held virtually again in 2021

COLUMBUS, Ohio The 2021 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon, OhioHealth Quarter Marathon, and the Commit to be Fit 5K will be held virtually again this year due to the regulations and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Race Director, David Babner said, You try to come up with the best plan, and obviously for this year s event in April, it was necessary, responsible, and appropriate not to have the event. We had about half that number, 6,000-8,000 people who chose to participate in it virtually.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The
Garnet & Gold 4 Miler, a running and walking event that will celebrate Football and Fitness and Finish on the 50-yard line on Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, will be held for the first time on April 11, 2021.
The inaugural
Garnet & Gold 4 Miler is open to all runners and walkers. The event will be limited to the first 1,500 in-person participants in its first year, with a virtual participation option available.
The
Garnet & Gold 4 Miler will be a Seminoles-themed celebration featuring former Florida State football players and celebrities, cheerleaders and a post-race celebration. The event will start on Langford Green outside of the stadium and feature a four-mile tour of Florida State’s campus before “Finishing on the 50” inside of Doak.
