The Alley, a historic property open since 1933, has launched a GoFundMe after exhausting both a PPE and SBA loan.
The bar has been shuttered since March, without even providing takeout, which was never financially feasible, according to pianist Bryan Seet, who is helping spearhead the fundraising efforts. After struggling to stay afloat through months of the pandemic, owner Jackie Simpkins needs help paying the mortgage and expenses.
