The founder and chairman of Lyco Manufacturing in Columbus killed his wife in their home, then went to a hospital emergency room where he fatally shot himself, authorities said Tuesday.
Authorities said Tuesday that Dave Zittel, the founder and chairman of Lyco Manufacturing, killed his wife in their home and then shot himself at a hospital emergency room Monday morning. The incident is under investigation, and no one else is believed to be involved. Zittel founded Lyco in 1980 and was the chairman of the board.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus Police Department are investigating two deaths, apparently the chairman of a local manufacturing company and his wife.
