By Dave Sebastian TE Connectivity Ltd. said it expects sales for the fiscal third quarter to rise as it benefits from a recovering economic backdrop. The Swiss company, which makes connectivity and sensor equipment, on Wednesday said it sees quarterly sales of about $3.7 billion, up from $2.5 billion in the prior year. The company said it expects per-share earnings from continuing operations of about $1.51 a share, compared with a loss of 18 cents a share a year earlier. It expects adjusted earnings of about $1.57 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expect third-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.44 a share on $3.45 billion in sales.
