In santa maria, it was packed with its usual saturday nightclub when, at 2 00 in the morning, disaster. A swiftmoving fire filled the Groundfloor Club with thick smoke. Witnesses said Club Security initially blocked several emergency exits, thinking p patrons were leaving without paying and that left only a few ways out.
