The convener, a Texan since 2015, will read from works by Ann Richards, Molly Ivins, Baxter Black, John Caro (LBJ’s biographer) and poet Dave Oliphant, a native Texan and NIU Ph.D. An accompanying slideshow will share pictures of the Lone Star State’s art, nature, industry and people. <br/><br/>This course repeats every Wednesday until February 9. <br/><br/>Convener: Jean Callary holds a B.A., M.S.Ed. and Ed.D. from Northern Illinois University.
