A chase is currently under investigation after an attempted traffic stop Sunday by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office. According to a news release, a motorcyclist fled, reaching speeds over 100 mph.
Theodore Quilitz, 79, of New London, and Susan Malecek, 73, of Danube, were identified as the two drivers involved in a crash reported Friday morning in New London. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said one man died and two other people are seriously injured after a reported crash Monday morning at a rural Spicer intersection near U.S. Highway 71 in Green Lake Township.
A driver, Michael Lee Weber, 47, of Pennock, was injured after a semitractor-trailer hauling sugar beets rolled onto its side Wednesday night north of Raymond. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
