BLISSFIELD For a period of eight months last year, the Blissfield Model Railroad Club was one of many local businesses and organizations that was required to shut its doors in order to comply with state-mandated guidelines and regulations to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Almost one year later to the date of its temporary closing, the club, which is located along the main drag of U.S. 223 near Blissfield’s downtown and can be easily spotted with the large steam engine sign facing out toward the north side of the road is continuing its tradition of hosting free open houses and layout tours to the community. The only catch now is that tours require a reservation.
